Liquid Epoxy Coating Pipe
Liquid epoxy coating can be divided into high solvent, medium solvent, low solvent (also called high build) and no solvent. Liquid epoxy coating performance quality is mainly decided by two factors, one is epoxy resin content, the other is solvent content.
By the experimental study, the epoxy resin content should not be less than 25%, the higher the coating epoxy resin content, the anticorrosion coating adhesive power is stronger, mechanical strength is higher, coating curing speed is faster, the coating is close-grained, so that we can get good performance of anticorrosion layer. On the other hand, the solvent content in the coating should be as little as possible.
The level and structure of the liquid epoxy anticorrosion coating shall be made according to the actual requirements by the pipeline engineering design department. Without special provisions, anticorrosion coating structure should be not less than two layers, thickness should comply with the table below.
