GL Series Premium Connections for Casing and Tubing
To meet the different demands for thread connection strength, seal performance, and other performance in the exploitation of oil & gas fields, Glory Tube has successively developed a series of GL-JT, GL-T1, GL-T2, GL-T3, and GL-T4 premium connections. Glory Tube premium connections have been widely used in domestic oilfields like Daqing Oilfield, Qinghai Oilfield, and Huabei Oilfield, as well as foreign oilfields in Europe, Australia, Middle East, etc.

1) The support of the entire R&D and manufacturing technology process. Product design is continually improved and studied using computer simulations and full-size real object tests to provide users with safer and more efficient special threaded joint tubing and casing products. From steelmaking. rolling, and heat treatment to the precision processing of threads, quality is controlling in line with the quality requirement of the ISO9001 quality management system as well as API Spec 5CT and API Spec 5B. Thread machining adopts advanced CNC machines.

2) Trustworthy product reliability. The products can satisfy the performance requirements of API for internal pressure strength, tensile strength, and the capacity of bearing combined bending + tension + internal pressure. A full evaluation is conducted in accordance with the ISO13679 standard to guarantee product performance. Typical premium connection products have passed the evaluation experiment of Stress Engineering Services, Inc, and CNPC Tubular Goods Research Institute.

GL-T4 Premium Connection Casing and Tubing
GL-T4 is providing high connection strength and good seal performance. Hooked thread and a modified -3° reverse angle on bearing plane not only provide the connection with super tension stress, but also against gluing. The specialized metal seal geometry can offer excellent gas tight sealing performance even under load of high tension and compression, sealing integrity remains constant despite repeated make-ups and break-outs. It is suitable for the work conditions in extended reach well and long horizontal well. The GL-T4 Premium Connection has been passed API 5C5 CAL IV TEST by American Stress Technologies Inc.
